I suffered from M.E. for about 10 years, further complicated by having Ankloysing Spondilitis (an arthritic condition). I am now a healthy and active person and I would like to help you to regain your health.
This is the story of my journey and I hope that it helps you in some way.
I fell ill in 1993 with symptoms, probably like you are suffering from, including:
- Muscle and joint pain
- Swollen glands
- Food intolerances
- Irritable bowel syndrome
- Loss of appetite
- Sleep disturbance
- Brain fog
- Memory loss
- Temperature fluctuations
- Severe fatigue
Generally, I felt like I was made out of lead. For about the first 5 years I could have been described as having moderate M.E., then I gradually got better and I then suffered mildly for about 3 years, then for the last 18 months I was very ill indeed, due to having Ankloysing Spondilitis on top of the M.E. By then I was housebound and using a wheelchair.
I wish that I had known about MT back then but I didn’t and it took me 10 years to learn what I could have learnt with MT in 10 sessions.
I am indebted for regaining my health to the wisdom, teachings and hard work of lots of individuals. I am particularly indebted to my wonderful husband Steve, my Mum and Dr David Edwards (unfortunately now deceased).
Some of the most important things I learnt in the journey to get better were:
- Putting myself first
- Forgiving and forgetting – let it go and move on
- To do things that I enjoy doing ad don’t do things that you don’t want to do
- Spending time being “quiet” each day – meditating or being mindful
- Having fun and enjoying life
